Christian M. Frank is the pen name for a group of dedicated young Catholic writers who make up the John Paul 2 High Team. Since nearly all of them are alumni of either Christendom College or Franciscan University of Steubenville, they elected to use the pseudonym as a way of honoring their respective alma maters. (The "M" is in honor of our Lady.)  The writers developed this series in order to give Catholic teenagers "fiction they can call their own," which deals with contemporary issues from a Catholic perspective and using a high quality of storytelling.  Sophia editor and author Regina Doman (Angel in the Waters) is the head of the John Paul 2 High team, and her younger brother John Doman wrote the first book in the series, Catholic, Reluctantly.
