Recognized as a leading Catholic historian, Warren Carroll was the founder and first president of Christendom College in Front Royal, Virginia and served as chairman of the History Department until 2002. His passion for history led him to author more than a dozen historical works, including a six-volume series of the general history of Christendom; The Guillotine and the Cross, a history of the Reign of Terror in the French Revolution; Queen Isabel of Spain; and shorter historical works about the apparitions of Our Lady of Guadalupe and Our Lady of Fatima. Anne authored Christ the King, Lord of History and Christ in the Americas and assisted her husband in writing his monumental History of Christendom series.
