Infiltration

The Plot to Destroy the Church from Within

About this item

It took nearly two millennia for the enemies of the Catholic Church to realize they could not successfully attack the Church from the outside. Indeed, countless nemeses from Nero to Napoleon succeeded only in creating sympathy and martyrs for our Catholic Faith.

That all changed in the mid-19th century, when clandestine societies populated by Modernists and Marxists hatched a plan to subvert the Catholic Church from within. Their goal: to change Her doctrine, Her liturgy, and Her mission.

In this captivating and carefully documented book, Dr. Taylor Marshall pulls back the curtain on their nefarious plan, showing how these enemies of Christ strategically infiltrated the seminaries, then the priesthood, then the episcopacy, and eventually the cardinal-electors – all with the eventual goal of electing one of their own as pope.

You’ll come to see that the seemingly endless scandals plaguing the Church are not the result, as so many think, of cultural changes, or of Vatican II, but rather the natural consequences of an orchestrated demonic plot to destroy the Church.

In these gripping pages, you’ll discover:

  • How popes of the 1800s discovered a plot to infiltrate the Church.
  • How theologians suspected of being Modernists became Vatican powerbrokers.
  • How modifications in Catholic canon law enabled predator priests like Theodore McCarrick to stay in positions of power.
  • How Our Lady of La Salette gave a prophetic warning of the plot to infiltrate the Church.
  • How the chief architect of liturgical reforms was discovered to be a Freemason.
  • Archbishop Fulton Sheen’s role in exposing the Communist infiltration of the priesthood.
  • How the confusing history of the Third Secret of Fatima relates to the infiltration of the Catholic Church.
  • That Pope Paul VI explained that Vatican II was not infallible.
  • How Pope Paul VI revoked the voting rights of cardinals over 80, thus guaranteeing that all voting cardinals were appointed by him.
  • How the criteria for sainthood shifted from a person’s historical acts to his personal beliefs.
  • The complex roots of the St. Gallen Mafia and how they plotted to modify Catholic doctrine and elect Pope Francis.

"We must examine the very roots of the present crisis, which, to a decisive extent, can be identified – as Taylor Marshall has done in this book – as an infiltration of the Church by an unbelieving world."

A must read for all Catholics
I am a cradle Catholic who decided to deepen my faith approximately six years ago, which led me to reading more about the faith, listening to a lot of Catholic radio, watching a plethora of Catholic YouTube channels, etc. I’ve always known by sheer common sense that the Church was in decline. The evidence was all around me: empty pews at Mass, few young people at Mass, shortage of priests and religious, the closing of hundreds of Catholic churches, etc. What I didn’t know was how this happened. I’ve had many speculations, but they were just that – speculations. As I learned more about my faith and delved into its Traditions of the past, I began uncovering things that saddened, angered, and confused me. This was the state I was in when I discovered Dr. Taylor Marshall’s book “Infiltration.” The book removed a veil that answered my many questions about the sad state of Holy Mother Church. Marshall does a brilliant job at identifying key events of the past that has led to all the confusion today. It was a connect-the-dots timeline, which brought great clarity to me. While I discourage people from delving “too deep” into the infiltration of the Church because it would please the devil if we become negative 24/7, I do recommend every Catholic read this book so they are aware of what has happened. More important, this book will help steer us away from further confusion and lead us to a more orthodox practice of the faith. Read the book and then follow St. Padre Pio's instruction to "Pray, hope, and don't worry." The book is an easy read. It took me about a day (cumulative) to read it. Since reading it, I’ve re-read certain chapters. I give this a 5 out of 5-star rating. I’ve done a book review of it on YouTube if anyone is interested: https://youtu.be/PW8a2B56pto

The Truth will always be revealed - it has to.
This was a very hard book to read. But only because of the heartache it I felt. I am a convert and have always been very involved in different ministries in my parishes. I have been following Dr. Marshall since reading several of his books for my Catholic Biblical School courses. Then the summer of shame happened while I was walking the Camino de Santiago not long after Dr. Marshall finished with his father. I was devastated! But not once have I EVER consider leaving the Church! I have been trying to educate myself on the reality of what is happening in our Church. INFILTRATION is everything I've been trying to find in a one-stop-shop! I have learned more about the history of our Church in reading this book than in the 28 years I've been Catholic as well as being trained as a Catechist. This is not a book about blaming and bad-mouthing people or groups. It does show very detailed & credible evidence of how we got to where we are now. It encourages all of us to stay and fight - to pray for the Holy Father. To follow what our Heavenly Mother has been pleading for us to do which we have ignored for decades. I KNOW the Church must be cleansed but it will be withstand the gates of hell. Dr. Marshall's book gives us that hope and a great plan to power through. Mary will be at our side, the Holy Spirit is leading the way! And I will fight for Christ and His Church! I pray you do too!

Read this, but read it with some reservation
If you've been a practicing Catholic for most of your life, then you'll be aware of the majority of the issues that Marshall brings to light here on a general basis, but not at the depth he presents. This might be a painful read for most, but an important one. Since the very beginning of the Church, Christ left it in the hands of men. Weakened by our fallen nature, men and the divisive political leanings of some have brought it to where we are today. Sure, our protestant brothers have splintered in different directions, but we can see a definite split within the Church today. Marshall pinpoints, historically, where those splits happened and what has become of it. Although Marshall cites most of his sources, he sometimes makes accusations and generalizations about individuals or movements without backing it up. For example, he shows several examples of why John Paul II's papacy was riddled with moments that lapsed in judgment without backing up his statements. The same holds true for most of what he says about Benedict XVI. Like most 'traditionalists', he seems to point to Vatican II as the ultimate break from 'true' Catholicism - the breakdown of the liturgy and the relaxing of strict rules previously defined by earlier councils. Several contemporary experts agree that Vatican II wasn't without problems, but the majority of the issues and confusion that came from it was its implementation. John Paul II went back to Poland after the council and rigorously educated his people on the meaning of the council writings and successfully implemented it in Krakow, whereas the liberal leaning Bishops saw Vatican II as an opportunity for change. There are some riveting sections that Marshall highlights from the Marian apparitions at LaSalette and Fatima that shows that Our Lady foretold these events long before they happened. So, the message of Fatima is so much more important today than ever. 'Penance, penance, penance' the Angel told the children. To reclaim 'our' Church, we need penance today. Read this, but read it with some reservation. All hope is NOT lost. Yes, the Church has been infiltrated and as long as men with fallen nature run it, there will always be problems. As Padre Pio said, 'Pray, hope and don't worry'.

I have not followed "how the sausage is made" in Rome, like people dedicated to following it do. I am sort of what one would call a regular Joe, but I had been wondering what is going on within the Catholic Church when I was attending Mass and everyone seemed to be worshipping differently, and the homilies were all over the place depending on the priest. This book was very helpful to me in answering why my questions were bugging me internally. I had found a Extraordinary Tridentine Mass to attend about 27 miles from my home, before I purchased this book and I know why I seemed so comforted by this small luxury in finding a Mass that had meaning for me again. I highly recommend buying the book.

A brilliant book of Dr. Taylor Marshall that should be present in every Catholic home. Clear and with plenty of quotes and citations gives the reader a historical perspective, connecting the dots to understand the degradation planned by evil forces to undermine our Holy Church. Particularly I found specially helpfull the approach on the papacy and its actions the last century. May God help us regain our Holy Roman Catholic Church.
